Description
I try to think ahead about what images I’m going to post here on my site. I try not to post the same style of image or an image of the same location back to back, just to keep from falling into any ruts this early in my exploration of photography. My list of images to post, however, is not static. I take new images and move them to the front of the list, and as I become more critical of my own work, images that I thought were good enough to post no longer meet my standards. Additionally, my list isn’t based solely on the image itself, but also on the story behind the image. Sometimes I want to write something about a particular image or a particular image goes well with what I want to write. This image is one that jumped to the head of my “to post” list for both the aesthetics of the image and the story I waned to write. The full length write-up is coming later, but the short version is that my buddy
Eric and I went out to take some pictures yesterday. Very rarely these days am I in a situation where I am not the only one with a camera, so to have a fellow photographer (and an exceptionally good one at that) join me, made for a particularly fun afternoon.
