Come on In, The Water’s Fine

Rick Sammon talks about how sometimes his years of instruction keep him from being completely out of the box when taking a picture. He’ll tell stories of people who will shoot holding the camera by their ankles or backwards over their heads. When I was out shooting with my buddy Eric the other day, we were walking by a lake that was blocked by some fairly high bushes. I thought there had to be a shot out to had in this situation. I put my camera on my tripod, set the timer, and held it over my head. The first two or three shots came out terrible. Thankfully, the third one came our pretty well.
