Dusk at Quincy Market

As I mentioned in my previous photo post, I have been trying to take more pictures in the proverbial golden hour. I had such an opportunity while I walking around Quincy Market with my family earlier this month. Unlike my picture of the skyline, I think that I took this picture much closer to the “ideal” time. Still, there was good bit of post processing work that went into this shot. In order to get this image, I brought out a lot detail from the shadows, added more saturation to the sky, warmed up the white balance, and then straightened out the Custom House in the background. Every time I look at this picture, I get more and more excited to go head back to Boston.
