Dumb Flying Topiary

I’m buried in amicus brief to-dos today, but I needed a break. The result of that break is me processing this shot of Dumbo (in both topiary and ride form) in Nik’s HDR Efex Pro. It’s a single RAW image run through that program with no other adjustments.

As I mentioned when I posted my picture of the Pavilion Garden, I recently spent a whirlwind day at Disney World. I spent about 2.5 – 3 hours at 3 of the theme parks, and pressed the shutter button a few hundred times. The sun was directly behind the giant hat at the center of Disney’s Hollywood studios, so I could not get a traditional “straight on” shot (not that I could beat Trey Ratcliff’s shot anyway), and instead I tried a few different angles.
This shot was processed used Nik Software’s new HDR Efex Pro (which I did a preview of before it’s released) and is processed from a single RAW file.
Crabby Sunset

I spent a few days last week down at Disney World. My first day there I headed over to the Downtown Disney Marketplace to grab a bite to eat and catch the sunset. This is the view from where i was sitting.
